Fashion Store – Italy

Redesign the website and app for an Italian fashion store founded in 1956 to attract a younger audience. The main challenge was to simplify the design for younger users while maintaining an uncluttered look that focuses on the product images.

The Problem: The Italian fashion store was founded in 1956 and had an outdated website that was difficult to navigate. The shop targets a wide population, but it needed a complete redesign to attract a younger audience. The main challenge was to simplify the design for younger users while maintaining an uncluttered look that focuses on the product images.

My Role: As the UX designer, my role was to create a new website and app that would be easy to use and navigate while maintaining the brand’s identity. I conducted user research to understand the needs and preferences of the target audience and used that information to design a user-friendly interface.

Users: The target audience for the Italian fashion store is young and fashion-conscious individuals who are looking for quality and affordable fashion. The users of the website and app are people who are looking to buy clothing, accessories, and footwear for men, women, and children.

Process and Iterations: The design process began with user research to understand the needs and preferences of the target audience. Based on the research findings, I created wireframes and prototypes to test the design with users. I used their feedback to refine the design and make it more user-friendly. The process involved several iterations until the final design was achieved.

The Main page or landing page showcases big images in rotation to show that shop provides products for men, women and kids. Because of the immense number of products that the shop offers the top links are minimized to offer easy of use.

When a person is navigating the website and the role of the links a down menu will appear to really reveal of the different categories of products.

Here once again you can see how the organization of the various items are rearranged based on the platform but the look and feel is maintained.

The users are able to navigate freely the entire website and they are required to provide information only at the last step when they are ready to check out. Below you can see the easy steps required to proceed with the purchase.
